3.4 400 x 400 installation opening
It is necessary and essential to use the sealing frame supplied to achieve
an optimal seal.
To install the sealing frame, follow the instructions supplied with the frame.
Installing the appliance in vehicles with an existing porthole: the opening
must be 400 x 400 mm with an excess tolerance that does not exceed
3mm per side.
• Remove the existing porthole (increase the opening if necessary).
• Remove the remnants of the old seal and ensure the hole is even if
necessary.
• Fill the screw holes with auto body sealant.
• Clean the surface around the hole with non-corrosive cleaning agents,
and apply the Terostat tape.
