4 USE
4.1 Intended use
The rooftop air conditioner is only suitable for campervans, caravans and
other vehicles with living quarters. It is not suitable for houses and apart-
ments.
The rooftop air conditioner is not suitable for installation on construction
machinery, agricultural machinery or similar work equipment. Correct ope-
ration of the appliance is no longer guaranteed if there is excessive vibra-
tion.
The rooftop air conditioner is guaranteed to operate in a specific range of
temperature variations (see the technical specifications).
WARNING ! No liability is accepted for any damage in the event of:
• Incorrect use and use that does not comply with the intended purposes
• Installations and repairs not carried out at authorised service centres
• Tampering with any component of the machine
• Use of non-original spare parts and accessories
• Failure to comply with the rules of use indicated in this manual
• Improper installation
IN THESE CASES, THE WARRANTY WILL BE VOID
4.2 Description
The rooftop air conditioning system consists of two units: one external and
one internal, communicating via a through-hole on the vehicle’s roof.
The external unit consists of a cooling system consisting of a refrigeration
circuit with a compressor that uses refrigerant gas. The internal unit is so-
lely responsible for air diffusion with the relevant adjustments.
The rooftop air conditioner introduces fresh, dehumidified or heated (only on
selected models) air into the passenger compartment without dust or dirt.
