Ex factory the printer's sensors are calibrated to the standard paper with blackmark. This is usually sufcient for other
blackmarks as well. In special cases, when the IR absorption of the blackmarks is too low, it may be necessary to re-
calibrate the sensors.
In any case, it is necessary to measure the gap sensor if label paper with gap detection is used instead of blackmark
detection.
