2 — Megger Baker ADX Instrument Overview
Megger Baker ADX testers provide a comprehensive, yet modular set of high-voltage motor testing tools in a
compact, lightweight, easy-to-use system. These testers perform:
Low-voltage Resistance, Inductance, and Capacitance tests.
Low-voltage phase angle and dissipation factor/quality factor tests.
Insulation Resistance (IR) / Megohm, Dielectric Absorption (DA), and Polarization Index (PI) tests.
High Potential (HiPot) tests (standard, ramp, and step voltage).
Surge tests.
Low-impedance armature and coil tests.
Armature and coil surge tests.
Megger Baker ADX testers are compatible with the Megger Baker PP and PPX series power packs for very high-
voltage testing.
The ADX features a variety of new accessories including test lead options, and updated external LED safety lights
and equipment stop boxes.
NOTE: To ensure full compliance with IEC 61010-1:2010, the ADX uses only current accessories that
meet or exceed requirements of the standard. Legacy equipment and accessories are not supported.
