You can also use the tester in its upright position, next to an Asset being tested.
CAUTION: Ensure that the ADX is located on a clean dry floor when using in this position to prevent
injury from tripping hazards or electrical shock.
Ensure that all test leads are properly positioned to prevent pinching while testing.
1. When using in this position, attach the test leads to their respective receptacles then lay out the cables as shown
below before raising the unit vertically.
2. Check to ensure that all leads are properly positioned and not being pinched in any manner.
3. Ensure that the ADX rests on a flat level surface near the Asset being tested, and in a practical position for view the
screen and operating controls.
