5.2 Water connection
Connection to the water mains is a matter
for the installation company and is taken for
granted below.
5.2.1 Water intake
The c5 coffee maker is supplied with water
from ...
! ... the mains water supply, with perma-
nent connection to the pipe system.
or
! ... from a fresh water canister with de-
tachable hose coupling.
5.2.2 Water drainage
Water is drained from the c5 coffee
maker ...
! ... into the waste water system, with
permanent connection to the pipe sys-
tem.
or
! ... into a waste water canister fitted with
a cap with a hole in it.
or
! ... into a wastewater canister in combi-
nation with the "Waste water container
level monitoring" option (hose is placed
above the connection pipe).
CAUTION
• It is not permissible to com-
bine a permanent connec-
tion to the mains water
supply with the use of a
waste water canister.
• Ideally, either "permanent
connection to permanent
connection" or "canister to
canister" should be used as
the connection type.
• The "Waste water container
level monitoring" option can
reduce the risk of overflows.
