5.5.3 Refill coffee beans
The bean hoppers are monitored as re-
gards coffee bean content. If a bean hop-
per becomes empty, this is displayed for
the relevant bean hopper during the dis-
pensing of a beverage.
In the example below, bean hopper 1 is
empty. The associated reference prod-
uct is "Coffee cream*".
1. Beverage selection key Coffee cream
/ Coffee Special [ ] has been
pressed once.
The following message appears ...
2. Pour coffee beans into bean hopper 1
up to about 2 cm below the bean hop-
per rim.
The position of bean hopper 1 is visible
on the inside of the bean hopper cover.
3. Press beverage selection button Cof-
fee cream / Coffee Special [ ]
again.
4. If bean hopper 2 is also empty, the fol-
lowing message will appear briefly ...
5. Preparation of the beverage is initiated.
6. The beverage is dispensed.

• The description which fol-
lows applies by analogy to
the bean hopper 2.
