2.2 Description
2.2.1 Operation
The temperature control for the Memmert water baths is operated via a silicone
heating mat. A digital sensor measures the temperature at the water bath tray. The
water bath heating mat is resistant to damage through malfunctions or improper use.
Dry-run protection switches the water bath off if it is operating without a tempering
medium at about 180 °C. It also prevents the heating mat from overheating, for exam-
ple, if the water bath runs empty while unsupervised.
