5.3.5.1. Auto-Follow Operating Mode
In the Auto-Follow operating mode, not only the switch-on pulse is adapted according to the Sync
signal from the camera system but also the values for Pulse period, Pulse width and Pulse delay.
Requirements for the Sync signal from the camera control:
I electrical signal at which the pulse duration and the frequency of the signal corresponds to the
exposure time.
I With the Auto-Follow selected for the M=Light LED, the duration of the switch-on pulses and the
intensity set must comply with the diagram that is shown in the software (Figure 16).

Maximum permissible limit values with a defined output of up to 150%.
Upper limit values with a defined output of more than 150%. In this scenario, the
lower limit values are identical to the limit values for <150%.
I Rough reference values for the permitted switch-on duration at common flash times:
With an intensity of <150%, set the switch-on duration at <50% of the period of used
frame rate (Pulse period / Pulse width ≤ 2/1).
With an intensity of >150%, set the switch-on duration at <20% of the period of used
frame rate (Pulse period / Pulse width ≤ 5/1).
