Recommended protective distances between portable and mobile radiofrequency
telecommunication devices and the “VM 9100RM III therapy system”
The VM 9100RM III therapy system is intended for operation in an electromagnetic
environment where the radiofrequency disturbances are controlled.
The operators of the VM 9100RM III therapy system can help prevent electromagnetic
interference by observing the minimum distances indicated below between portable and
mobile radiofrequency telecommunication devices (transmitters) and the VM 9100RM III
therapy system independent of the output power of the communication device.

recommended protective distance d in meters (m) can be determined by using the equation
which belongs to the corresponding column where P is the maximum rated power of the
transmitter in Watt (W) according to the information by the transmitter manufacturer.
Comment 1: For 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
Comment 2: These guidelines may not be applicable in all cases. The spreading of
electromagnetic quantities is influenced by the absorption and reflexions of buildings,
objects and persons.
