Always quote the Vehicle Identification Num-
ber (VIN) when communicating with MG
Authorised Repairer. If the drive motor or
electric drive system is involved, it may be re-
quired to provide the identification numbers
of these assemblies.
Vehicle Identification Location
VehicleIdenticationNumber(VIN)
• On the floor under the front driver seat;
• On the identification plate;
• Stamped on a plate visible through the
bottom left hand corner of the wind-
screen;
• On the inner side of the tailgate visible by
opening the tailgate.
Note: The DLC is located in the driver
footwellatthebaseofthefasciapanelon
the RH side. The VIN information can be
extracted from the vehicle using the ap-
proveddiagnosticequipment.
Drive Motor Number
Stamped on the lower part of the drive mo-
tor housing.
Electric Drive System Number
Stamped behind the upper part of the electric
drive system housing.
