Remove
power
from
the
circuit
under
test
and
then
break
the
circuit
at
the
appropriate
point.
6.
Connect
the
probes
in
series
with
the
circuit.

Unit
SERIES
CONNECTION

Apply
power
to
the
circuit
and
read
the
current.
8.
If
the
meter
is
set
for
DC
Current,
the
minus
sign
will
indicate
the
polarity
of
the
measured
current.
Input
of
more
than
the
maximum
rate
(DC/AC
104A)
will
cause
all
of
the
figures
in
the
display
to
blink.
Note:
The
300mA
range
is
fuse-protected.
If
the
meter
is
inoperative,
check
the
fuse.
The
10A
range
is
not
fuse-protected.
WARNING:
DO
NOT
APPLY
VOLTAGE
DIRECTLY
ACROSS
THE
INPUT
TERMINALS
WHILE
EITHER
OF
THE
300mA
OR
10A
SWITCHES
IS
PRESSED
IN.
THE
METER
MUST
BE
CONNECTED
IN
SERIES
WITH
THE
CIRCUIT.
