9.3.5 Dispenser heater shutdown
Unlock the display control panel first. Then press the LOCK button and the ICE ON button at the
same time for 3 seconds to enter the mode. Click the LOCK button to take effect.Under this mode,
turn off the heater for the distributor, thermal insulating door and mouth frame.
By press the LOCK button and the ICE ON button at the same time for 3 seconds again to exit this
mode. Click the LOCK button to take effect.
9.3.6 Water filter over-use warning
If the filter is used for over 150 days, “WATER FILTER” indicator light will keep on, furthermore, if
over 180 days, “WATER FILTER” indicator light will keep blinking. After replacing the new filter, by
pressing the “WATER FILTER” button for 3 seconds, you can eliminate light blinking and retime.
9.3.7 Ice maker on / off
After power on, the ice maker is turned on by default and the ICE ON indicator lights up.
Unlock the display control panel first. By pressing “ICE ON” button once, the "ICE ON" indicator is
off. Click the LOCK button to take effect.
9.3.8 Lock and Unlock
Under lock state, by pressing LOCK button for 3 seconds, it will enter unlock state, and the unlock
buzzing sound will ring. The "LOCK" indicator is off. Under unlock state, by pressing LOCK button for
3 seconds, it will enter lock state, and the lock buzzing sound will ring. The "LOCK" indicator up.
9.3.9 Fahrenheit and Celsius switching
Unlock the display control panel first. By pressing ENERGY SAVING button for 3 seconds, can
switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, and the corresponding icon ℃ and ℉ will be light on. Click
the LOCK button to take effect.
9.4 Defrosting function
◆ Defrosting theory:
The defrosting of evaporator is realized by the heating of heater, following the temperature rise, the frost
on evaporator becomes water, and the water flow into the evaporating pan via the draining system, the
water in evaporating pan evaporate away finally
◆ Defrosting steps:
Compressor shutdown--- fan motor is turned off after 3~10 minutes (for different model refrigerator, the
time is different)--- electric damper closed---the heater start working---the heater stop when the
temperature rise to setting--- after 7 minutes, if the start-up condition is reached, the compressor will
start---the electric damper resets once---after 3 minutes, the fan motor will start work
◆ Meet one of the following conditions , defrost heating exit:
1) When the frozen defrosting sensor has no fault, the measured temperature Tfd ≥ the set
temperature which defrost heating exit
2) When the frozen defrosting sensor has no fault, the defrosting time is ≥ 60 minutes
3) When the frozen defrosting sensor is faulty , the heater will stop after work 20 minutes
