– the mains connection cable is disconnected from the power sup‐
ply.
Pull the plug, not the cord, to disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
The manufacturer's warranty will be invalidated if the appliance is
not repaired by a Miele approved service technician.
Faulty components must only be replaced by genuine Miele Origi‐
nal spare parts. The manufacturer can only guarantee the safety of
the appliance when Miele replacement parts are used.
Never open the outer casing of the machine. Tampering with elec‐
trical connections or components and mechanical parts is highly
dangerous to the user and can cause operational faults or electric
shock.
Use only Miele Original spare parts. If spare parts or accessories
from other manufacturers are used, the warranty will be invalidated,
and Miele cannot accept liability.
