Maintenance of the milk valve
The milk valve should be cleaned once
a week to ensure good quality milk froth
and prevent sputtering.
The Drinks menu is visible in the display.
Touch Main menu or .
Select  Maintenance and then Clean
the central spout.
The central spout and the milk valve will
move into the maintenance position.
You must remove the cleaning
brush before confirming the OK mes‐
sage in the display. Otherwise the
coffee machine will be damaged.
Insert the brush in the milk valve and
move it back and forth.
Touch OK.
The milk valve will move into the initial
position and the milk pipework will be
rinsed.
Milk flask with lid
Soiling can cause a fault in the ma‐
chine.
It is important to keep the neck and
flange of the flask clean (whilst filling
it and carrying it).
Clean the milk flask holder on the
coffee machine with a damp cloth.
Clean the glass milk flask in the dish‐
washer or by hand using hot water
and a little washing-up liquid applied
with a soft cloth. Dry the milk flask
thoroughly.
Before placing the lid of the milk flask
in the dishwasher:
Rinse the milk pipework in the lid un‐
der running water.
If water does not run out of the milk pi‐
pework ,
dismantle the milk flask lid and clean
it with the cleaning brush supplied.
