Safety with children
Activate the system lock to ensure that children cannot switch on
the st
eam oven inadvertently.
Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the
appliance un
less they are constantly supervised.
Children 8 years and older may only use the steam oven
unsuper
vised if they have been shown how to use it safely and
recognise and understand the consequences of incorrect operation.
Children must not be allowed to clean the steam oven
unsuper
vised.
Please supervise ch
ildren in the vicinity of the steam oven and do
not let them play with it.
Danger of suffocation. Packaging, e.g. plastic wrappings, must be
k
ept out of the reach of babies and children. Whilst playing, children
could become entangled in packaging or pull it over their head and
suffocate.
Danger of burning. Children's skin is far more sensitive to high
t
emperatures than that of adults. Make sure that children do not
attempt to open the door when the appliance is in operation. Keep
children well away from the appliance until it has cooled down and
there is no danger of burning.
Dange
r of injury. The door can support a maximum weight of
8 kg.
Do no
t let children sit on the door, lean against it or swing on it. They
could injure themselves.
