Cleaning the spray arms
Because the spray arm jets can
become blocked, it is important to
inspect them every day.

Use a sharp pointed object to push
any particles into the spray arm jets,
then rinse thoroughly under running
water.
To do so, remove the spray arms as
follows:

Remove the baskets.
Upper basket or mobile unit spray arm
(if applicable):
^ Loosen the ring nut on the spray arm
and remove the arm.
Metal nuts are threaded left.
Ceramic nuts are threaded right.

Unscrew the upper spray arm.
^
After loosening the ring nut, remove
the lower spray arm.
^
After cleaning, re-insert the spray
arms and tighten down as needed.
After replacing the spray arms,
check to make sure that they rotate
freely.
