Switches the steam ironing system
on or off.

Displays messages and instructions
for the user.

Lights up if additional options are
offered or if the display text exceeds
the specified length of a line. Scrolls
down the list to the next option or
decreases a value.

Lights up if additional options are
offered or if the display text exceeds
the specified length of a line. Scrolls
up the list to the next option or in-
creases a value.

OKbutton
Confirms the selection or the inform-
ation in the display.

button
Opens the settings menu. The set-
tings menu can be used at any time
to change the language and the wa-
ter hardness level, or to start the de-
scaling process.
Some of the messages in the display
are more than one line long. Touch the
 or  button to read them in full.

Emergency releasebutton
This releases the steam ironing sys-
tem. The button is only required if
the ironing board cannot be set in
the final position during assembly or
dismantling (see “Problem solving
guide”).
