Condensed water container
51
Preparing the condensed wa-
ter container for the Steam
Care programme
During the Steam Care programme,
the condensed water collected in the
condensed water container is sprayed
into the drum via a spray jet. The con-
densed water container must therefore
be filled with water to at least the
–min– marker. Otherwise, this could
cause a fault.
The –min– marker is at the front left-
hand side of the container.
Make use of the condensed water
which collects during the drying pro-
cess.
Filling the empty condensed water
container
You can fill the condensed water con-
tainer with commercially available
condensed water (ironing water).
You should only use tap water in excep-
tional circumstances. If tap water is
used frequently, the spray jet in the
door opening can become calcified.
1 spout, 2 rubber seal
Pour the water in through the rings on
the spout 1.
The spray jet in the door opening can
suffer a blockage.
It should only be filled with clean wa-
ter. The water must not contain any
fragrance, detergent, or other sub-
stances.
Check the rubber seal from time to
time.
If tap water is used frequently, white
limescale deposits can build up on the
rubber seal 2.
Use a damp cloth to carefully remove
any limescale deposits from the rub-
ber seal 2.
