3. Importing Jobs in MPC via Shared
Folders
Follow these steps to import RIP data (jobs) to the control PC using a local network: "Connecting to a
Local Network"(P. 4)
LAN connection

• Two types of shared folders for printers are available. These can be used for different purposes.
Item Summary
SharedJob • Jobs are imported to the printer and displayed in the MPC job list.
• To print, simply select a job from the job list.
HotFolder • Jobs are imported to the printer and immediately printed.
1. When continuous print mode is on: Printing starts immediately.
2. When continuous print mode is off: The job is added to the queue. Please turn on
continuous print mode to start printing.
3. If another job is currently being printed: The job is added to the queue. Once the current
job has finished printing, the queued job will automatically start. Please note that when
automatic operation mode or work change mode are turned on, continuous print mode
will turn off and printing will stop once the print in progress has finished.
Outputting jobs to a shared folder
RIP data (jobs) can be directly output and imported to a shared folder of this machine.
