6. Selecting a Projection Lens
Projection Lenses come in the following four types. Select the one that corresponds to the film
being used.
Projection Lens Types Type 1: 7.5×
Type 1: 9 to 16×
Type 2: 13 to 27×
Type 3: 23 to 50×

This list shows the standard types of film and the recommended zoom ratios of lenses to be
used with the unit. The size and format of one frame of film may vary depending on the shoot

ing conditions.
Zoom the lens in and out to find the optimum ratio that will fit the scanning size.
