2.9 Digital I/O Connector
See Interfacing Notes on Page 16 before making connections to this interface
A standard 25-way D-type socket used for interfacing with external equipment. This may be
already in use depending on the type of RGA system purchased.
The Digital I/O connector can also be used to provide alarm output signals and process trip
signals.
This interface offers the following functionality:
16 configurable I/O lines
+3.3V power output fused at 120mA, fuses are self resetting
±15V power output fused at 120mA, fuses are self resetting
+24V power output fused at 120mA, fuses are self resetting
Note: The total power consumption on each rail (+3.3V, ±15V & +24V) for both the Analogue and
Digital I/O ports must not exceed 120mA.
