Lightning and Surge Protection
In order to avoid damage to MOBOTIX cameras from overvoltages, you should always
install the
MX-Overvoltage-Protection-Box
. This competitively priced and weatherproof
network connector provides reliable protection against overvoltages of up to 4kV; the box
is easily installed in the Outdoor Wall Mount, for example (see
Section 1.4.13, «MX-Overvoltage-
Protection-Box»
).
