Tethys D60 - Tethys T60 - Tethys T45 SHORT-FORM MANUAL
5 ALARMS and WARNING MESSAGES
The symbol on the left appears as a LED on the display to indicate an alarm. The appliance has detected an anomaly.
The list of all the alarms is provided in the full-form operator's manual.
The way alarms are indicated on the display depends on their gravity. The appliance distinguishes between:
- “FATAL ALARMS”, the message which appears is "AF" followed by the alarm number.
- “NON FATAL ALARMS” are warning messages and not malfunctions; the display shows "A-" followed by the alarm
number. Press the “Start/Stop” button to continue using the appliance.
IF AN ALARM OCCURS
First check for water leaks around the appliance; if there are leaks: turn off all water supply taps and contact the after-
sales service.
When an alarm occurs, the appliance automatically tends to set itself in conditions of safety: the alarm code flashes on
the display until the problem has automatically been dealt with: NO RESET COMMANDS ARE ACCEPTED during this
time. Any RESET forced by the user will not be accepted until the problem has been dealt with and the alarm code on
the display is “steady”.
RESET PROCEDURE for AF alarms (alarm code steady on the display):
1. Perform the RESET cycle.
2. If the alarm message disappears after the RESET cycle: normal use of the appliance can be restarted by
switching it off and back on with the On/Off button.
3. If the alarm message persists after the RESET cycle: switch the appliance off and back on using the “On/Off”
button and by disconnecting it from the electricity supply (Wait at least 10 seconds after switching off before
switching back on again).
4. If the alarm occurs when the appliance is restarted: retry the RESET.
If the alarm persists even after the RESET procedure:
1. Turn off the water supply taps.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply.
3. Check that all the appliance’s connections (electricity and water) are correct and there have been no
changes from the initial installation conditions.
4. Contact the After-Sales Service.
