MASTER
SWITCH
The master switch operates the battery relay which controls battery power to
the main ship bus bar. This switch cuts the alternator field power from main
bus to the alternator. This switch also cuts off all ship power except the cabin
and baggage overhead lights and the electric clock.
3.
ALTERNATOR
SWITCH
This switch cuts the alternator field power from mail? bus to the alternator.
4.
BOOST PUMP
SWITCH
Pushing ON or OFF the switchlcircuit breaker controls operation of the
electric fuel boost pump. Use of the fuel boost pump should be limited to
starting, takeoff, switching fuel tanks, landing and emergency situations. The
fuel boost
pump is capable of supplying fuel to the engine at the rated quan-
tities and pressures to
permit the engine to develop rated power.

ALTERNATE
STATEC
SOURCE
VALVE
Pulling alternate static source valve lo
full aR position changes the source of
static air for the altimeter, airspeed indicator and rate-of-climb indicator from
outside of the aircraft to cabin interior. Airspeed and altimeter readings are af-
fected slightly when alternate static source is used (Refer
to
Section
V).

STROBE
LIGHT SWiTCllllCiRCISIT
BREAKER
Pushing ON the strobe light combination switchlcircuit breaker turns on the
wing tip and tail strobe iights. Should a short occur,the combination
switch/circuit breaker will autolnatically trip to the
OFF
position.

NAVIGATION
LIGHT
SWITCkiICIRCUIT
BREAKER
Pushing
ON
the navigation light combination switch/circuit breaker turrrs on
the wing tip and tail navigation lights.
Should a short occur,the combination
switch/cii.cuit breaker will automatically trip to the
OFF
position.

Pushing ON the recognition light combination switchicircuit breaker turns
on
the
recognition light. Should a short occur,the co~r~bination switchlcircuil
breaker will automatically trip to the
OFF
position.

UNDlNG
LIGHT

Pushing
ON
the landing light switch turns the landing light on. Sliould a
short occur,the circuit breaker at the top of the circuit breaker panel will
autosnatically trip to the
OFF
position.
The landing
light should not he
operated when the engine is not running to preclude
overheatit~g of the lamp.

PITOT
HEAT
SWITCHICIRCUIT
BREAKER
Pushing ON the pitot heat combination switch/circuit breaker turns on the
heating elements within the pilot tube.
Skiould a short occur, the combina-
tion
switch/circuit breaker will automatically trip to the
OFF
position.
