Occupant Safety
DANGER Never use a rear-facing child seat in this vehicle. In some
countries, it is illegal to use a rear-facing child seat without deactivating
the airbag which is not possible in this vehicle.
WARNING Occupants requiring additional seating aids should not
travel in the vehicle.
WARNING The airbags in this vehicle cannot be deactivated at all.
WARNING You must not use any child seat of the Universal Category
nor any booster seat in this vehicle by children or persons of small stature.
WARNING Do not x anything to or adjacent to the airbag door
- e.g. Navigation etc
SAFETY INFORMATION
Harmful Substances
Exhaust gases contain Carbon Monoxide (CO). This gas cannot be seen, has
no odour and exposure to the gas can cause unconsciousness or death. If it is
suspected that exhaust gases are entering the cockpit of the car do not drive
the car until a Morgan engineer has rectied the fault. Never park in a conned
space with the engine running without adequate ventilation.
Engine System
DANGER Do not touch or approach the engine bay when
the engine is operating.
WARNING Do not touch or approach any part of a hot exhaust system.
Failure to comply with this may result in injury.
WARNING Do not use the car if a fuel leak is suspected. Ensure that a
Morgan engineer or service agent repairs the fault before starting or using
the vehicle. Leaking fuel may cause res or explosions.
WARNING Do not tamper with the electrical system.
WARNING Do not touch or approach the engine bay when the
engine is running.
WARNING Do not touch or approach any part of a hot exhaust system.
Failure to comply with this may result in injury.
CAUTION Do not tamper with the electrical system.
CAUTION If the engine malfunctions in any way, The EML symbol will
show on the LCD screen. Morgan recommends that the fault is diagnosed
and repaired by a Morgan engineer before using the vehicle. Failure to
react appropriately to any engine management faults may result in
permanent damage to the engine. Continuing to drive the car with an
engine misre could cause the catalytic converter to overheat, with
possible heat damage to other car components, and an engine bay re.
NOTICE It is recommended that any work to be performed on the vehicle
should be undertaken by a Morgan service agent.
