Brake Fluid Reservoir
The brake uid reservoir is situated under the left hand bonnet.
Every 5,000 miles (8,000km) check uid level in the reservoir. There is a
minimum and maximum level mark on the rear of the reservoir, the uid
should be lled to the maximum mark. If necessary, replenish with DOT 4
Brake Fluid. Replace cover ensuring that the rubber-sealing ring is in good
condition and that the ventilation hole is unblocked. If signicant topping-up is
required check the master cylinder, slave cylinders and pipes for leakage, any
leakage must be rectied immediately.
The brake uid in the system must be drained and replaced every 2 years.
The brakes will be inspected regularly during a normal service. Cleanliness
is essential when dealing with brakes as grease or oil cannot be removed
from brake linings. Always replace brake parts with genuine Morgan original
specication components.
DANGER Brake uid is hazardous and will cause illness or even death
if swallowed.
WARNING If brake uid leakage is suspected, do not drive the vehicle.
The vehicle must not be driven and should be inspected by an authorised
Morgan Technician.
WARNING Use only the specied brake uid; using the incorrect uid
may cause damage to the brake system.
MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND GRAPHIC PACKS
Graphic Packs
If your vehicle is tted with a Morgan livery pack or decal kit, do not attempt to
remove it as this may cause damage.
CAUTION Excessive direct sun light may cause damage to graphic packs.
CAUTION Take care when cleaning the vehicle not to damage graphic packs.
If using a pressure washer to clean the vehicle, please note that holding the
nozzle at an angle to the decal may lift the edges of the lm. It is therefore
advised that areas with decals applied are washed by hand, not with a pressure
washer. Avoid polishing areas where a graphic pack has been applied.
