Griso V1100
• Loosen and remove the eight screws.
• Remove the head cover.
• Loosen the nut (1);
• Turn the adjuster screw (2) with a screwdriver until the
following clearances are set:
- intake valve: 0.10 mm (0.0039 in)
- exhaust valve: 0.15 mm (0.0059 in).
• Measure clearance using a suitable feeler gauge (3).
NOTE If clearance is greater than specified, the tappets will
be noisy; clearance smaller than specified will prevent the
valves from closing fully leading to:
- pressure leak;
- engine overheating;
- burnished valves, etc.
