Running-In
Running in is essential to ensure the durability of the vehicle. During the first 932.06
mi (1500 km), observe the following rules to ensure the future reliability and perform-
ance:
•
Avoid full throttle starts and hard acceleration;
•
Avoid exceeding 4500 rpm (rpm);
•
Avoid hard or prolonged braking;
•
Avoid stretches at constant speed; preferably ride the motorcycle on varied
routes with frequent, moderate acceleration and deceleration;
•
Ride prudently to gradually gain familiarity with the motorcycle, progressively
increasing the engine speed.
IMPORTANT
THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH A SINGLE DISC DRY CLUTCH. IN CERTAIN
CONDITIONS, THE CLUTCH MAY EMIT A SLIGHT AND DISTINCTIVE ODOUR OF
CLUTCH MATERIAL. THIS IS NORMAL AND IS NOT INDICATIVE OF A FAULT.
IMPORTANT
THE FULL PERFORMANCE OF THE VEHICLE IS ONLY AVAILABLE AFTER THE
SERVICE AT THE END OF THE RUNNING IN PERIOD.
