What to do if Motorline Control Unit motor doesn't work?
    • B
      Brandy KingAug 3, 2025
If the Motorline Control Unit motor isn't working, first ensure a 110/230V power supply is properly connected to the automation and functioning correctly. Next, open the control board to verify it also has a 110/230V power supply. Check the control board input fuses for any issues. If problems persist, a qualified MOTORLINE technician should be consulted, or the control board should be removed from the installation and sent to MOTORLINE technical services for diagnosis.

What to do if Motorline Control Unit motor opens but doesn’t close?
    • T
      Tammy LaneAug 11, 2025
If the Motorline Control Unit motor opens but doesn’t close, first unlock the motor and manually move the gate to the closed position. Lock the motor again, turn off the power supply for 5 seconds, and then reconnect it. Try sending the order to open the gate using the transmitter. Also, check for any obstructions in front of the photocells and ensure that none of the gate's control devices (key selector, push button, video intercom, etc.) are stuck, sending a continuous signal to the control unit. If the issue persists, consult a qualified MOTORLINE technician.

Why Motorline Control Unit motor doesn't move but makes noise?
    • J
      Jenna CastroAug 18, 2025
If the Motorline Control Unit motor makes noise but doesn't move, unlock the motor and manually move the gate to check for mechanical issues. Inspect all motion axes and related systems connected to the motor and gate to identify the problem. Test the operator with new capacitors. If the motors work, the problem likely originates from the control board. If the motors don't work, remove them from the installation and send them to MOTORLINE technical services for diagnosis. It is also recommended to consult an experienced gate expert.

How to fix if Motorline Control Unit gate doesn’t take complete route?
    • M
      Michael RogersAug 25, 2025
If the Motorline Control Unit gate doesn’t complete its full route, unlock the motor and manually move the gate to check for mechanical problems. Inspect all motion axes and associated motion systems linked to the gate to identify any issues. Test the capacitors, trying new ones if necessary. If the motor functions correctly and moves the gate with full force throughout the entire stopping, the issue lies within the controller. Adjust the force using the trimmer on the board. It is also recommended to consult an experienced gate expert.
