How to troubleshoot a Motorline Control Unit when the motor doesn't work?
    • S
      susangibsonAug 17, 2025
If the Motorline Control Unit's motor isn't working, first ensure a 110/230V power supply is properly connected to the automation system. Then, open the control board and inspect the fuses, verifying the 110/230V power supply. Disconnect the motor from the control board and test it by directly connecting it to the power supply. If the motor now functions, the issue lies within the control board. If it remains non-functional, remove it and send it to MOTORLINE technical services for diagnosis.

How to troubleshoot Motorline MC2 Control Unit when motor doesn't work?
    • J
      jessicajohnsonSep 1, 2025
If your Motorline Control Unit motor doesn't work, start by ensuring that a 230V power supply is properly connected to the automation. Then open the control board and check the fuses. If there is 230V power, disconnect the motor from the control board and test it by connecting it directly to the power supply. If the motor works when connected directly, the problem lies within the control board. If the motor still doesn’t work, it should be removed from the installation and sent to Motorline technical services for diagnosis.

What to do if Motorline MC2 Control Unit gate doesn’t make complete route?
    • M
      Mark ThomasSep 5, 2025
If your Motorline Control Unit gate doesn’t complete its route, try the following: * Unlock the motor and manually move the gate to check for any mechanical issues. * Inspect all motion axes and related systems for problems. * Test the capacitors, replacing them with new ones to see if that resolves the issue. * Ensure the controller's force setting is sufficient for the gate to open and close smoothly. If the motor doesn’t work, remove it from the control board and test it by connecting it directly to the power supply.

What to do if Motorline MC2 Control Unit motor opens but doesn’t close?
    • A
      Amanda ScottNov 20, 2025
If your Motorline Control Unit's motor opens but doesn’t close, begin by unlocking the motor and manually moving the gate to the closed position. Relock the motor and turn off the power supply for 5 seconds before reconnecting it. Then, attempt to open the gate using the transmitter. Also, check for any obstructions in front of the photocells, and verify that none of the control devices (key selector, push button, video intercom, etc.) are jammed, sending a continuous signal to the control unit. If LEDs devices are not all On, there is some security systems malfunction. If 'START' circuits LEDs turn On, there is a control device sending permanent signal. Try closing all safety systems on the control board with a shunt, and disconnect all wires from the START terminal under normal condition...
