Auto Power Off
This feature allows you to avoid the radio from being idle for a long time and extend the battery life.
A tone sounds continuously for 10 seconds before the radio shuts down automatically when the Auto Power
Off timer has expired.
NOTE:
The radio is idle when there is no user activity such as a button press or rotating the channel selector
knob.
If you set the timer to None, the radio disables the Auto Power Off feature.
