Viewing Stored Messages
Sending a Message
Nextel’s Messaging feature includes four options: Web Messaging on
nextel.com, Email Messaging, Numeric Messaging and Operator
Assisted Messaging.
Web Messaging on nextel.com
Nextel’s Web Messaging enables you to send a message to yourself,
someone else or a group of Nextel customers. It also includes a
“Schedule For Later” option, which allows you to send yourself
reminders. You can also check on the delivery status of your messages.
For more information or to send a Web message, go to nextel.com and
click on Send a Message or Nextel Mobile Messaging.

While in Phone mode (see “Modes and Menus” on page 19),
press o under “Mail.”

Select Mesg Mail by using lr to highlight Mesg Mail or by
pressing 2. An asterisk indicates a new message.

Press o under “Ok.” The Message Mail screen appears
briefly, displaying the numbers of new and saved messages.

Press o under “Read.”

If the message fills more than one screen, use lr to scroll
through the rest of the message.

Press o under “Save” to save the message.
Or, press o under “Erase” to delete the message.
7
Press o under “Exit” to exit Mesg Mail.
