Before You Begin
Before you begin the installation, check that you received the following items with your
SURFboard cable modem:
You will need 75-ohm coaxial cable with F-type connectors to connect your cable
modem to the nearest cable outlet. If a TV is connected to the cable outlet, you may
need a 5-900 MHz RF splitter and a total of three coaxial cables to connect both the TV
and the cable modem. The coaxial cable and RF splitter are available at consumer
electronic stores.
