5.4 Prepared X16 connector
Fig. No. 7:
The X16 connector serves to control a leading device downstream
to the vibratory drive, e.g. a conveyor feeder. Here, the information
“Vibratory drive started” or “Vibratory drive stopped” is passed on.
An external potential (PLC) can be passed on here via a normally
open relay.
For example, an additional Vib-Control 04 which drives a bowl
feeder can be controlled via the normally open relay.
The interface provides an own 24V potential
Pin 1 = 24V, Pin 4 = 0V DC so that a relay or optocoupler can also
be connected at this point.
5.4.1 Connection variant 1
The “normally open” function of the relay is used here to inform the
PLC with its own potential that the vibratory drive has started.
