2.3 Removing the Regulator Hose Assembly
(1) Remove the regulator cover. (See Removing the Regulator Cover for instructions.)
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the diaphragm.
(2) Use a 2mm punch to push the U-clip post through the
regulator housing and remove the U-clip.
NOTE: Use extreme caution to not damage the diaphragm.
(3) Unscrew the bypass knob from the bypass port.
a) Remove the bypass and hose with swivel from the
regulator.
NOTE: Any time the bypass assembly is removed from the
regulator housing, replace the O-rings on the bypass stem and
electronic connector.
