2.19 Removing the Regulator Housing

NOTE: To remove / install the Intermediate Pressure (Regulator) Hose and Wiring from the pressure
reducer, please review the respective sections in the MSA G1 Carrier and Harness Assembly C.A.R.E.

(1) Remove the regulator. (See Removing the Regulator
Hose for instructions.)
(2) Remove all regulator components, including valve
assembly, regulator buttons, and E-module.
(See Removing the E-Module for instructions.)
(3) Inspect the regulator housing for wear or damage. If
damaged, discard the regulator housing.
NOTE: Do not reuse the regulator seal ring or O-ring at the
outlet on the new regulator housing.
(1) Install all regulator components, including valve assembly, regulator buttons, and E-module

(2) Install a new regulator seal ring and O-ring (See Installing the Regulator Seal Ring for instruc-
tions).
