9. Evenly spread a thn layer of thermal paste (or thermal tape) on the top of the CPU.
Ths wll help n heat dsspaton and prevent CPU overheatng.
10. Locate the CPU fan connector on the manboard.
11. Place the heatsnk on the manboard wth the fan’s wres facng towards the fan
connector and the screws matchng the holes on the socket.
12. Usng a screwdrver tghten the four captve screws (9 nch-pounds).
13. Fnally, attach the CPU fan cable
to the CPU fan connector on the
manboard.
