4, Releasethe parkingbrakeby depressingtheclutch-
brakepedaland positioningthe speedcontrolleverin
desiredposition,
IMPORTANT:First-timeoperatorsshouldusespeed
positions1or2, Becomecompletelyfamiliarwiththe
tractor'soperationandcontrolsbeforeoperatingthe
tractorin higherspeed positions,
5, Releaseclutch-brakepedalslowlyto putunitinto
motion,
6, The lawntractoris broughttoa stopbydepressing
theclutch-brakepedal

"browned"by hot exhaustfromyourtractor'srunning

If unit stalls withspeedcontrolin highspeed,or if unit
willnotoperatewithspeedcontrolleverin a lowspeed
position,proceedas follows:
1, Placeshift leverin NEUTRAL,
2, Restartengine,
3, Placespeedcontrolleverinhighestspeedposition,
4, Releaseclutch=brakepedalfully,
5, Depressclutch=brakepedal,
6, Placespeedcontrolleverindesiredposition,
7, Placeshift leverin eitherFORWARDor REVERSE,
andfollownormaloperatingprocedures,
