Toremovethecuttingdeck,proceedas follows:
1, PlacethePTO(BladeEngage)leverinthe disem
gaged(OFF)positionandengagetheparkingbrake,
2, Lowerthe deckbymovingthedeck liftbver intothe
bottomnotchon the rightfender,
3, Removethe beltfromaroundthetractor'sengine
pulleyandidlerpulby(s),RefertoChangingthe Deck

4, Lookingat thecuttingdeckfromthe leftsideof the
tractor,locatethehairpinclip thatsecuresthe deck
supportrodon therearleftsideof thedeck,See
Figure22,
5, Removethe hairpinclipthatsecuresthedeck
supportrod,andcarefullyremovethe decksupport
fromthedeck liftarm,
6, Repeatthe abovestepsonthe tractor'srightside,
7, Movethe decklift bver intothetopnotchonthe right
fenderto raisethedeck liftarmsupandout of the
way,
8, Carefullyremovethe PTOcabb fromthe rearof
thecuttingdeck by removingthehair pinclipwhich
securesit, Removethe springfromthedeckidler
bracket,SeeFigure23,
9, Gentlyslidethecuttingdecktowardthefrontof the
tractorallowingthe hooksonthe decktorebase
themselvesfromthedeckstabilizerrod,
10,Gentlyslidethe cuttingdeck(fromthe rightside)out
fromunderneaththetractor,
