5. Disconnect the wire from the ignition switch and the
primer line from the primer button.
6. Remove the two screws that fasten the upper heat-
box housing to the lower housing and lift out the
upper housing. See Figure 3.3.
NOTE: Write down or take a picture of how the
prime line and ignition wires are routed
through the upper heat box housing.
7. Remove the screw that fastens the engine shroud
by the fuel tank using a #2 phillips screwdriver. See
Figure 3.4.
8. Remove the two carburetor nuts using a 10 mm
wrench. See Figure 3.5.
