6.3 Engine governor ADEC (ECU 7) fault messages for Series 4000
engines, marine application
The fault code numbers are generated by the engine governor and transmitted to the display below (if fitted).
The fault code (1) comprises 3 digits.
Fault messages may also be caused by faulty sensors/actuators. Contact Service to have sensors/actuators
tested and replaced as necessary if troubleshooting as described in the table (→ Page 98) proves unsuccess-
ful.
