18.5. Menu ¥Timer, ¶¶Interval
The purpose of the Interval timer is to monitor a pre-
set time once or repeatedly.
Every time you switch the transmitter on, the set inter-
val time (alarm) re-starts.
Once the set interval time has elapsed, an audible
alarm sounds; the timer then continues to count up
until it is switched off.
18.5.1. Example:
Monitoring motor run time per climb
For this example we assume the following:
The motor is to run for a maximum of one minute
per climb.
Switch G is used to start the interval timer for the
motor run time (G simultaneously controls the mo-
tor and the motor’s total run time).
Preparing the Interval timer:
a. Assigning the switch ( 14.3.2.)

when switch G is at the “forward” position.

d. Once you have selected the Alarm line, you can
select the number of the alarm by pressing the
3-D digi-adjuster, and set the value by rotating it.
Now press the 3-D digi-adjuster repeatedly until
Alarm is highlighted. This completes the set-up
procedure.
How the Interval timer is used:
As soon as switch G is moved to “full-throttle”, the In-
terval timer starts from the set time.
The last 2 seconds are indicated by a brief triple-beep
().
The end of the Interval time is signalled by a long
triple beep (╒═╕╒═╕╒═╕). Following this, the
transmitter emits an audible signal for a period of five
seconds. However, the interval timer then continues to
run until switch G is returned to the “back” position. In
this case the screen displays the time by which you
have exceeded the set interval (i.e. landed too late).
18.5.2. Summary Timer 3 ¶¶Interval
For active model only,
the current status is not stored when the
transmitter is switched off or you change
the model memory.
With alarm = 0:00:00 behaves as Sum
timer, otherwise counts down
Runs as long as the assigned switch
(switch / slider / stick) is at the ON posi-
tion
REV/CLR button in the menu
or in Status display 4 (Timer),
or when re-started using the associated
switch
2 sec before elapse of alarm time:
one triple beep () per second.
When the alarm time is reached:

The triple beep identifies the timer as Timer 3, Interval
18.6. Total transmitter operating time
The fifth timer records the transmitter’s operating time,
and is only displayed in Status display 4 ( 10.8.4.):

the display is automatically reset to 0.0 h.
