OPERATION
6. Try adjusting the pitch of the blades using the left and
right blade pitch control switches (Figure 27). This can
be done with the trowel stopped or while the trowel is
moving.

7. Test the operation of optional equipment such as
retardant spray and lights.
8. Pull both the left and right joysticks backward
(Figure 28) and repeat steps 3–4 while substituting
the word reverse for forward.

ENGINE SHUTDOWN
1. Reduce engine speed and allow the engine to idle for
3–5 minutes.
2. Turn the ignition key counterclockwise to the OFF
position, then remove the key.
3. Clean and remove any debris from the trowel.
NOTICE
Failure to allow the engine to idle for a few minutes
before shutdown may lead to engine damage.
