LabVIEW RT applications that have any of the unsupported functionality
listed above may or may not work as expected on the FP-20xx.
Complete the following steps on the host PC to target LabVIEW RT to your
FP-20xx:
1. Start LabVIEW.
2. Open a new VI.
3. Select Operate»Switch Execution Target to open the Select Target
Platform dialog box, shown in the following figure.
4. Select your target platform from the pull-down menu.
5. Select RT Engine on Network to target your FP-20xx.
Note
When targeting LabVIEW RT to an FP-20xx network module, the module does not
need to reside on the same subnet as the host PC.
6. Enter the IP address and password you specified for the FP-20xx in
Remote System Explorer. If no password is specified for the FP-20xx,
leave the password field blank.
If the IP address of the host PC appears in the RT Target: Access
list of the FP-20xx, you do not need to enter the password. Refer to
the RT Target: Access section for more information about
RT Target: Access.
7. Click OK.
