SCXI DAQ module refers to the SCXI-1200
SDK software development kit
self-calibrating a property of a DAQ device that has an extremely stable onboard reference
and calibrates its own A/D and D/A circuits without manual adjustments by
the user
serial mode the mode by which SCXI-116X modules communicate digital information
serially rather than in parallel
SE (single-ended)
inputs
an analog input that is measured with respect to a common ground
SPDT single-pole double-throw
S/s samples per secondused to express the rate at which a DAQ device
samples an analog signal
software trigger A programmed event that triggers an event such as data acquisition.
STC System Timing Controller
synchronous (1) HardwareA property of an event that is synchronized to a reference
clock. (2) SoftwareA property of a function that begins an operation and
returns only when the operation is complete.
T
thermocouple a temperature sensor created by joining two dissimilar metals. The junction
produces a small voltage as a function of temperature.
TTL transistor-transistor logic
U
unipolar A signal range that is always positive (for example, 0 to +10 V).
