emission label is attached on top of the valve cover. The EPA
label typica lly includes the following:
• Model year
• Engine family, model, a nd displacement
• Advertised brake horsepower and torque rating
• Emission family and control systems
• Valve lash specifications
• Engin e serial numbe r
• EPA, EURO, and reserved fields for specific applica tio ns

labels or identification plates:
•Aircompressor
• Air conditioning compressor
• Alternator
• Cooling fan clutch
• Power steering pump
• Starter motor
