Replacing the Lithium Battery
Caution: Dangerofexplosionifbatteryisincorrectlyreplaced.Replaceonlywiththe
sameorequivalenttypeasrecommendedbythemanufacturer.Discardusedbatteries
accordingtothemanufacturerʹsinstructions.
1. Removepowerfromtheterminal.
2. OpentheTopCover.
3. Notethebatteryʹspolaritybeforeremovingitsothatyoucanreplace
thebattery
correctly.
4. PresstheRetainingCliptothesideasshownandthenremovethebatteryfromof
thesocket.
5. Insertthenewbatterybypushingitstraightdownuntilitistightlylocked.Battery
polarityisindicatedontheMotherboardnexttothebatteryconnector.
6. ClosetheTopCover.
7. Apply
ACPowertotheTerminal.
8. RunSetupandsetdefaults.SettheDate/Timeandmakeanydesiredspecial
settings.
