4. Move to the directory where the package of the NEC ESMPRO Agent is stored.
# cd /mnt/cdrom/nec/esmpro_sa
5. Enter the following commands to install the package:
# rpm –ivh nechwid-3.00.00-1. i386. rpm
# rpm –ivh Esmpro-common-dat-4.0.4-1.i386. rpm
# rpm –ivh Esmpro-common-bin-4.0.4-1. i386. rpm
# rpm –ivh Esmpro-type2-dat-4.0.4-1. i386. rpm --nodeps
# rpm –ivh Esmpro-type2-bin-4.0.4-1. i386. rpm
# rpm –ivh Esmpro-ft-4.0.4-1. i386. rpm
Uninstallation procedure
1. Log in to the system as a root user.
2. Enter the following commands to uninstall the package:
# rpm –e Esmpro-ft
# rpm –e Esmpro-type2-bin
# rpm –e Esmpro-type2-dat
# rpm –e Esmpro-common-bin
# rpm –e Esmpro-common-dat
# rpm –e nechwid
Setup of NEC ESMPRO Agent
Follow the instructions below to setup the NEC ESMPRO Agent.
1. Log in the system as a root user.
2. Move to the directory where the NEC ESMPRO Agent is installed.
cd /opt/nec/esmpro_sa
3. Move to the directory where the control panel is stored.
cd bin
