This manual explains how to install the Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003, Standard x64
Edition/Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003, Enterprise x64 Edition (called the "Windows
Server 2003 x64 Editions" hereinafter) by using an NEC difference module for the Windows
Server 2003 x64 Edition for Express5800/120Lh.
Before installing the Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions, be sure to read this manual
thoroughly.
NOTE
The NEC difference module for the Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition
for Express5800/120Lh is dedicated to the Express5800/120Lh. This
module cannot be used for other devices.
The installation procedure of the Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions is outlined below.
It is impossible to upgrade the Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions from an existing 32-bit
edition.
These editions must be newly installed.
